Idea Factory grew out of a graphic design and marketing household, where local small businesses got thoughtful hands-on work from Tera's parents. That early backdrop made it obvious that a logo or a menu board can change how a place feels to walk into.
After ten years in big tech as a staff data engineer, mostly on the backend, the next move was to bring those tools to the people who actually need them most — the bakery, the studio, the therapist, the small shop.
Petaluma became home in 2022. Idea Factory opened after a deliberate stretch of getting the systems, voice, and pace exactly right.
The differentiator is the Engine — a purpose-built toolkit that keeps delivery fast and pricing grounded. Three to five projects per quarter keeps the work personal and the details sharp.
